About the role
The Enrolled Nurse will provide assessment and monitoring of individuals to ensure safety at all stages of the client journey and work under direct/indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Enrolled Nurses are required onsite 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and successful candidates will need to be willing to work a rotating roster and be comfortable working across day, afternoon and night shifts.
Your duties include:
- Support a philosophy of care that is patient-focused, where care is integrated from reception to post-release
- Assess and observe the immediate health needs and provide nursing as required and on-site care in consultation with the Registered Nurse
- Work within the Enrolled Nurse's scope of practice and deliver care in collaboration with the registered nurse in the areas of, but not limited to:
- Administering medications
- Skin integrity assessment and wound management as required
- Neurological assessment and management
- Respiratory assessment and management
- Falls risk assessment and minimisation / strategy plan management

Our ideal candidate:
- The EN is required to hold an NMBA approved qualification in the administration of medications1-5 oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous
- Enrolled Nurses are required onsite 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and
- Willing to work a rotating roster and be comfortable working across day, afternoon and night shifts
- Paediatric experience is desirable
