About the role
The Quality Improvement Lead is part of the Quality and Continuous Improvement team, shaping and supporting cohealth's organisation-wide approach to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI). Working across both Service and Enabling networks, the role leads the implementation of cohealth's Quality Improvement Strategy, a key strategic priority positioning cohealth as a leader in quality improvement within community health.
With curiosity, vision, and collaboration, the Quality Improvement Lead develops and embeds consistent CQI practices across the organisation, strengthening a culture of quality improvement and supporting cohealth to deliver high-quality care and services to our communities.
Your duties include:
- Lead the development, evaluation and management of CQI systems and processes aligned with the Quality Improvement Strategy
- Establish systems to track, monitor and report quality improvements through governance channels.
- Parter with Network Directors to set and achieve annual CQI targets and demonstrate the impact of CQI initiatives.
- Support managers, teams, and the broader workforce to identify and action opportunities for quality improvement.
- Lead the development of CQI capability across the workforce through supporting training, coaching, and the facilitation of a Quality Improvement Community of Practice.
- Supports the workforce to engage with clients as partners in CQI.
- Act as a subject matter expert in improvement methodologies, supporting the workforce to apply these in CQI activities.
- Lead and support CQI initiatives as required.
Provide subject matter expertise in quality improvement across forums, committees, and projects.

Our ideal candidate:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a quality improvement/management role within a health care setting
- A qualification or certification in improvement methodology (IHI improvement science, lean six sigma etc), or extensive experience using improvement methodologies.
- Certificate IV Workplace Training & Assessment, or experience in delivering training
- Victorian Driver's Licence and ability to meet pre-employment requirements (police check, WWCC, work rights, vaccinations)
