About the role
Janoak Personal Care Workers are primarily responsible for personal care and domestic duties at the Janoak program. These include maintaining high cleanliness and infection control standards, provision of, or assistance with, meals for the residents, and assistance with daily living skills.

Your duties include:

• Support residents with their personal care needs
• Maintain a strength-based, client-focused
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and/or assist residents with meal preparation as required
• Manage, prompt and observe medication for residents in adherence with the Janoak Medication policy

Our ideal candidate:

• Certificate level qualification or above in Mental Health, Home & Community Care, Personal Care or Disability preferred
• Experience in working with older people and/or people who experience mental health concerns or a disability
• Relevant qualifications in: Food Handling, First Aid Level 2, Medication management, Infection control
• Good written communication and interpersonal skills
