About the role
The Integrated Family Services worker will work in partnership with children, young people, and families toward developing a care plan to achieve mutual goals as well as reduce any risks posed to children and young people's safety and wellbeing.

Your duties include:
- Recognise and respond to intersecting factors of socioeconomic status, culture, geography, age, disability, sexuality, and gender identity, which impact on the experience of families.
- Work with families toward desired change, through direct case practice using a child-focused, family-centred approach.
- Use a goal directed approach in full consultation with family members including a regular review process.
- Undertake comprehensive strengths-based needs assessment with a particular focus on risk assessment for high need cases.

Our ideal candidate:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications related to Social Work, Psychology, or a similar field
- Proof of qualification to be sighted
- Demonstrated experience in working effectively with people who may have a range of complex needs.
- Valid Victorian Driver's License
All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Police Check, a Working with Children Check (WWCC), complete a Pre-employment declaration form, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination against COVID-19 (3 doses). Additionally, some roles will also require current AHPRA registration and/or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
Roles that are determined to be Risk Category A or B [staff that have direct and/or indirect contact with body substances and are at higher risk of occupational exposure to infections] will be required to provide evidence of immunisation assessment including Influenza prior to commencement [A] or within 12 weeks of commencement [B]. This is in accordance with the Victorian Minister of Health Mandatory Vaccination Orders for COVID-19 and legislated requirement for influenza vaccination.
