  • $86,707 - $99,709 per annum based on experience + Super + Salary Packaging
  • Option for 1x ADO per month

cohealth and Brimbank Partnership

In line with the Royal Commission's recommendations, Victorian Government has decided to establish 50 - 60 local mental health and well-being services. For this purpose, The Victorian government has championed cohealth to lead the development of these mental health hubs in Brimbank.

The design, development and delivery of all these services will be collaborative, and community focused. Along with partner organisations Clarity Health Care and the University of Melbourne, cohealth will be walking hand in hand with the community, local health providers, coworkers and people with lived experience of mental health to bring this service to life by the end of 2022.

About the role

​​​​​​​Leading the development of Brimbank Local, cohealth is at the forefront of a once-in-a-generation change in how mental health support is delivered in Victoria.

The purpose of this role is to provide clinical service delivery to a caseload of clients, provide assessment and care planning while supporting the client achieve their recovery goals. Based on operational requirements you may be directed to work from Brimbank LGA sites.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Will be accountable for the Occupational Therapy service and providing a welcoming environment for consumers to learn about diverse health related matters.
  • Flexibly work with vulnerable groups including CALD, people experiencing mental illness or homelessness.
  • Contribute to and participate in health promotion programs designed in response to community needs in consultation with other staff.
  • Liaise with a range of stakeholders to ensure comprehensive and effective client management

Position Requirements

  • Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Ability to work effectively across a multi-disciplinary service and several diverse client groups.
  • Experience in delivering of individual and group-based interventions
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating a range of preventative and community education / health promotion programs.

All Healthcare workers in Victoria are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19, you will need to provide evidence before commencing employment with cohealth.
