Position overview & purpose

This position sits within workforce planning functions providing administrative support to the Roster Planner in addition to supporting the ongoing, effective, efficient management of our casual resources deployed in the cohealth fixed sites, pop-up sites, rapid response, and project locations requiring regular flex up and flex down of staff support.

Key accountabilities:

  • Maintain accurate active rosters detailing availability and qualifications of staff
  • Ensure Rosters support operational requirements
  • Support Administrative function including reviewing/approval time sheets and invoicing
  • Assist roster scheduler with responding to rostering queries when required
  • Assist with the onboarding and exiting of staff within the cohealth systems
  • Manage and maintain all Deputy records for scheduling
  • Carry out duties in a manner that does not adversely affect health and safety of self or others by reporting all incidents and injuries as well as cooperating with any measures introduced in the workplace to improve Work Health & Safety (WHS)
  • Comply and adhere to all cohealth policies and procedures including code of conduct and values
  • Undertake special projects or tasks as required
  • Perform all other duties as directed, within the limits of skills, competence and training to maximise flexibility and effectiveness
  • Ability to work within the parameters of pre-defined budget

Position requirements:

  • Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
  • Victoria Police Check

Key selection criteria:

  • Understanding and knowledge of roster systems
  • Understanding and knowledge of scheduling systems
  • Ability to work within the parameters of pre-defined budget
  • Infectious diseases qualifications or experience in use of PPE would be well regarded
  • Working within a social and mental health support setting
