Community and Cultural Development Officer (Creative producer)

The Community and Cultural Development Officer (Creative Producer) will focus on upcoming and future arts-based projects for culturally diverse communities with external partners. The areas of focus will include research, grant writing, collaborative project design and codesign, project management and other responsibilities as required. The Officer will also support the planning and evaluation of projects and provide support for other cohealth Arts Generator projects and programs.
We need you to actively work within our busy team to:
- Contribute to planning and reporting processes consistent with the 2017/21 Prevention Strategic Plan
- Support the coordinator in a number of professional writing activities including: Research, report writing, funding applications and acquittals, literature reviews
- Maintain evaluation data sets
- Complete relevant reports and updates as required by funders
- Support the distribution of promotional material to target communities
- Promote cohealth Arts Generator projects to interested stakeholders, including internally
- Work with Coordinators and Project teams to recruit, liaise with and mentor artists/facilitators to deliver identified programs as required
- Support project teams as required
- Support the active engagement of new participants into programs within a community development framework as required
- Liaise with external providers in relation to scheduling of projects/programs
- Undertake other duties as instructed by the line manager
This position would be ideally suited to someone who:
- Vocational Qualification in Human Resources or Business Administration;
- Office administration skills and experience;
- Exceptional organisational skills;
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy;
- Proficient in Information Technology systems, MS Excel, MS Word, and HRIS;
- Verbal and written communication skills, including writing clear emails and correspondence;
- Willing to learn, develop, and contribute to team learning and development;
- Commitment to cohealth's Values;
- Able to advise and assist people at all levels of the organisation.

Collaboratively written pieces are acceptable but applicant must have been lead writer.
