Becoming a valued member of cohealth's midwifery team, means you will provide direct midwifery care to women, their partners and families, living in the City of Yarra. As a Midwife, you will focuses on perinatal women, their partners and families from CALD backgrounds and those with complex needs, assessing women's needs planning, implementing and coordinating appropriate care and service delivery. Working in partnership, you will respect and support their right to self-determination in the life processes of pregnancy, birthing and parenthood. cohealth has established the continuity of care practice as standard, dedicated to caseload midwifery; we will empower you to deliver the best possible care, with more hands-on involvement.
We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual who;
- Is registered as a Nurse Division 1 with current practicing registration with AHPRA;
- Is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and meets the NMBA's registration standards;
- Is experienced working with people from culturally and socio economically diverse backgrounds;
- Possesses a high level of written, oral communication and interpersonal skills;
- Is proficient with ICT systems, including Microsoft Office programs and patient/client management systems; plus has the ability to pick up new systems quickly; and
- Holds a current Victorian driver's licence.

This position will be paid under the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2016-2020. Registered Nurse Grade 2, Year dependent on experience
